Reverend An archbishop is the Most Reverend [Father in God]; a bishop, the Right Reverend; a dean, the Very Reverend; an archdeacon, the Venerable; all the rest of the clergy, the Reverend.

Revulsion (in philosophy). Part of a substance set off and formed into a distinct existence; as when a slip is cut from a tree and planted to form a distinct plant of itself. Tertullian the Montanist taught that the second person of the Trinity was a revulsion of the Father. (Latin, revulsio, re-vello, to pull back.)
